National Day for Staff Networks 2025

Published Date: 13th May 2025

Wednesday 14th May is the National Day for Staff Networks. Staff networks work in partnership with the Trust to create a safe, inclusive and diverse working environment that encourages a culture of respect and equality for everyone. The Networks are there to give you a voice, giving you the opportunity to discuss your experiences and issues in a safe space.

We have seven Staff Networks within the Trust:

  • Abilities @ MWL (Disability and Wellbeing)
  • Armed Forces Community Network
  • Building A Multicultural Environment Network
  • Carers Network
  • Menopause Network
  • Proud@MWL
  • And the recently created Women's Network

You can find out more about the Networks, what they do and where and when they meet on the Trust Intranet at: https://intranet.sthk.nhs.uk/extranet/circle/61d0b1d38343a933fa6984a2e2119a67 for legacy STHK staff and https://sointranet.southportandormskirk.nhs.uk/extranet/circle/61d0b1d38343a933fa6984a2e2119a67 for legacy S&O staff.
