BMJ Best Practice is a clinical decision support tool, uniquely structured around the patient consultation, with advice on symptom evaluation, test to order and treatment approach. BMJ Best Practice provides step by step guidance on diagnosis, prognosis, treatment and prevention on over 30 specialties. It gives you access to over 250 medical calculators, procedural videos, evidence based medicine toolbox, case reports and patient information leaflets. Clinical Knowledge Summaries (CKS) are produced by NICE and provide primary care practitioners with a readily accessible summary of the current evidence base and practical guidance on best practice in respect of over 330 common and/or significant primary care presentations.

The service is regularly maintained and upgraded as and when significant new evidence emerges
