Abstract

Penile ulceration is a rare side effect of treatment with nicorandil for the management of angina pectoris. To our knowledge, there have been six reported cases in the literature: Yap et al. reported a case series of three in 20101, Kinney et al. reported two cases in 20102 and Birnie et al. reported a single case in 20083. We present a further case series of nicorandil-induced penile ulceration with diagnostic challenges and management complications.
