  How do I find full-text journals?

There are now 2 simple ways to find the journals and articles you’re interested in. Use BrowZine to keep track of your favourite journals and LibKey Nomad to easily access articles.

BrowZine is an easy way to browse, read and monitor journal content on your mobile device, laptop or desktop PC.

  • Browse the journals list to see what titles we hold in your specialty or areas of interest
  • Create an account to keep track of your favourite journals
  • Save them on your personal bookshelf, providing easy access
  • View tables of contents when new issues are published
  • Get the full text of the articles where available
  • View journals and articles anywhere and anytime with the BrowZine app

Find BrowZine by clicking on Journals on the Library website or in the NHS Knowledge and Library Hub. For more information watch the video or click here

Wherever you find an article that we have access to, whether that’s on the journal website or in Pubmed or Google Scholar, just look for the Nomad symbol and download the article.

You will find LibKey Nomad on your trust PC or laptop. You can also install LibKey Nomad on your own device from here https://thirdiron.com/downloadnomad/.

You will need to choose your NHS OpenAthens organisation:

  • St Helens & Knowsley Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust

OR

  • Primary Care and ICB staff in Halton, Knowsley and St Helens
 

And that’s it – no need to register or login.
