We present a rare case of bilateral arytenoid keratosis and concomitant oral leukoplakia in a 52 year old smoker and drinker with an acute hoarse voiceSmoking and alcohol are well known aetiological risk factors for the development of keratosis

Laryngeal keratosis is a premalignant mucosal change

Laryngeal keratosis is most commonly found on both true vocal cords but has been reported to occur on the anterior and posterior commissures, false cords and epiglottis

Arytenoid keratosis has not been described in the literature before.
