Training for New Resources

As you know we have some new exciting online resources to help you find and access the information you need (if you don't know, see our blog posts here https://www.knowledge-nw.nhs.uk/news/10January2022, here https://www.knowledge-nw.nhs.uk/news/12January2022 and here https://www.knowledge-nw.nhs.uk/news/14January2022 to find out more).

If you would like to find out more about the Knowledge & Library Hub, BrowZine or LibKey Nomad, want help learning how to use them or have questions about how to make them work for you, then you can arrange a Virtual Training Session with one of our Librarians.

We are currently doing all of our training online via MS Teams. To arrange this please fill in our online form https://www.knowledge-nw.nhs.uk/request-training and we will find a time and date that is convenient for you.

During the session:

• we will take you through how to access the Knowledge and Library Hub, what resources you will find on it, how to search the hub and save your results;
• how to access and download BrowZine, search for e-journals on it, save your favourites for easy access, create an account to build a collection of your favourite journals and articles and save them to your personal bookshelves and find out when new issues are published; and
• how to find and access online journal articles using LibKey Nomad.

 

We'll answer any questions you may have about how these resources work and provide you with a PDF guide to print and keep.
